Terry Slattery Promoted to President of For Rent Media Solutions^TM

Former vice president and general manager transitions into his new role as president

Slattery entered the multi-housing industry in 1993, when he joined the For Rent Magazine^® office in Las Vegas as an account executive. Since then, he has held several positions within the company, including national marketing director, vice president of marketing, and vice president of national sales and marketing. He assisted with the execution of LEADS^TM, the original tracking service in the multi-family housing business, now considered the standard in the industry. He is also credited for heading up the group that created ForRent.com^®, one of the nation’s leading apartment Internet Listing Services.

Slattery is very active in the multi-housing industry, attending many industry conferences and serving as a board member for the National Apartment Association. In 2007, he was appointed chairman of the National Supplier’s Council. In this position, he co-chaired the NAA Education Conference and Convention in Las Vegas and oversaw the development of the National Suppliers Council. This is the highest level that a supplier can rise to in the multi-family industry.

In his last role as the vice president and general manager of For Rent Media Solutions, Slattery brought innovation to the industry through new initiatives such as online video and mobile technology. Industry Experts from Leading Apartment Resource Slated to Present During Major Multi-Housing Conference

NORFOLK, Va.-(June 24, 2008)- The National Apartment Association (NAA) Education Conference and Exposition is a key event for multi-housing professionals interested in learning about everything from popular topics to new products in the industry. For Rent Media Solutions Challenge Cup Raised $16,000 for
National Apartment Association Political Action Committee

Houston and Dallas multi-family housing professionals
teed off against each other for a good cause

NORFOLK, Va.-(June 20, 2007) - For Rent Media Solutions, a leading apartment resource for searching apartments for rent nationwide and a division of Dominion Enterprises, raised $16,000 for the National Apartment Association Political Action Committee (NAAPAC) during the 11^th annual For Rent Media Solutions Challenge Cup golf tournament. Hosted by the Houston Apartment Association, the May 11 event was held at the Falls Resort, in New Ulm, Texas.

The For Rent Media Solutions Challenge Cup was developed in 1996 to support the NAAPAC, which strives to educate Congress about the needs and concerns of the multi-family housing industry. The event is hosted in alternate years by the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas and the Houston Apartment Association. Participants play on one of two teams, representing either Houston or Dallas. Houston took home this year’s trophy, evening the score from Dallas’s win in 2006.

“For Rent Media Solutions has been the title sponsor of this golf tournament since it was developed,” says Brock MacLean, vice president of national sales and development for For Rent Media Solutions, who participated in the tournament as a member of the Dallas team. “We are honored to be a major fundraiser for the NAA Political Action Committee and will continue to contribute to the committee to support its cause.”

The golf tournament is a major fundraiser for NAAPAC, which has received a total of $176,000 contributed through golfer registration fees, since the tournament began.

10^th Annual For Rent Challenge Cup Offers Major Support to NAA Political Action Committee

Norfolk, VA-(May 2, 2006)- Spring is here, bringing with it the perfect weather to “tee off”. This year marks the 10^th annual celebration of the For Rent Challenge Cup, a golf tournament that raised $160,000 for the National Apartment Association’s Political Awareness Committee.

On April 27 and 28, 16 golfers from Houston teamed up against 16 golfers from Dallas to raise money for the NAA’s Political Awareness Committee (PAC). The Dallas Apartment Association hosted this year’s tournament, which was held at the White Bluff Resort on Lake Whitney.  For Rent Magazine^® is the title sponsor of the For Rent Challenge Cup; which is the major fundraising contributor for PAC. The tournament brings in $16,000 every year raised through player registration. Each player is required to donate $500.

In 1996, Dwaine Capodice, Vice President of Sales for For Rent Magazine^® in Dallas, Kirk Tate, CPM, Principal of Orion Real Estate and John Cullens, President of ApartmentCareers.com developed the fundraiser that has generated $144,000 in the past nine years and brought another $16,000 this April, bringing the total to $160,000. This year’s champions were the Dallas team, which lead Houston 10 ^½ to 5 ^½. Except for a little rain on Friday, the tournament was a success. Each year, either the Houston or Dallas Apartment Association hosts the event. Last year’s tournament, hosted by the Houston Apartment Association, was held at the Walden on Lake Conroe.

“NAA is grateful each year to For Rent for its continuing sponsorship of the For Rent Challenge Cup,” says Doug Culkin, the NAA PAC Treasurer.  “It is clearly the strongest ongoing fundraiser to benefit the NAA PAC.  The competition between Dallas and Houston has sparked other regional challenges throughout the country - but none have raised as much for such an extended time as the For Rent Challenge Cup.”

“Kirk Tate, John Cullens and I started the challenge cup over ten years ago at an apartment association meeting in Corpus Cristi Texas,” says Dwaine. “As usual For Rent stepped up to the plate and supported this idea as it has and always will do for the industry we believe in.”
