Property Managers in Indiana and Michigan Find Additional Marketing Opportunities in New Publication

ForRent.com-The MagazineTM offers a Print and Internet solution for apartment industry professionals in the North Central/Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan

NORFOLK, Va. (December 12, 2007) - For Rent Media SolutionsTM, a leading apartment resource for searching apartments for rent nationwide and a division of Dominion Enterprises, has expanded ForRent.comTM-The Magazine, its most recent publication, to additional markets. This latest edition encompasses a region in North Central/Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan, which centers around the city of South Bend, Ind. Additional markets include Valparaiso and Notre Dame, Ind., as well as Benton Harbor, Mich. The magazine hits the stands on December 18.

Nationwide, property managers are embracing the combination of print and Internet advertising to increase their reach to apartment seekers. According to an August 2007 study by iProspect, 39 percent of Internet users who shop online make a purchase after being driven to search online via an offline channel; print ads and word-of-mouth being the most frequent drivers. Property managers who use a combination of print and Internet advertising then have an advantage over those who use only one or the other as a marketing tool.

“ForRent.com-The Magazine merges print apartment listings with its Internet listing on ForRent.com®,” said Anita Williams, ForRent.com-The Magazine regional manager. “This offers a powerful combination of print and online resources that allow property managers to maximize their visibility. Since the magazine’s introduction in eight other markets, property managers in these areas have seen phone leads increase by an average of 315 percent, according to our LEADSTM Management System! Through this system, property managers receive an exclusive, nationwide toll-free or local number with tracking information available anytime.”

With ForRent.com-The Magazine, property managers can list their property in the magazine and direct apartment seekers to their listings online through the property’s distinct URL at the bottom of the page. ForRent.com-The Magazine can be found in convenient locations such as Wal-Mart, Meijers, Wild Oats, Hollywood Video, Big Lots and in highly visible outdoor boxes. The publication also can be found at local restaurants, universities and gas stations, as well as the chamber of commerce and preferred employers.

ForRent.com-The Magazine already has been well received by property managers in Birmingham, Louisville, Nashville, and Oklahoma City as well as Connecticut and the Raleigh, Charlotte, and Triad areas of North Carolina. Utilizing this publication has become a modern and innovative approach to marketing apartment communities.

Dial Directions Announces Partnership With For Rent Media SolutionsTM

For Rent Magazine® offers a new mobile locator service that provides directions to any apartment address in the San Francisco Bay area and an additional 30 markets

Norfolk, VA (November 20, 2007)- Dial Directions (http://www.dialdirections.com/) today announced a partnership with For Rent Media Solutions, a leading resource for searching apartments for rent nationwide and a division of Dominion Enterprises. Apartment seekers can now receive a text message with turn-by-turn directions to apartments in the San Francisco Bay area by calling Dial Directions’ free voice-activated service advertised in their local For Rent Magazine.

“At For Rent Media Solutions, we believe in leveraging cutting-edge technology with traditional print media to offer our advertisers the most comprehensive marketing strategies to reach as many apartment seekers as possible,” said Brock MacLean, vice president of national sales and development, For Rent Media Solutions. “By offering Dial Directions to For Rent Magazine readers in the Bay area, we’re giving our advertisers an opportunity to grow leads in their apartment community in a matter that is unmatched in our industry.”

How It Works

The apartment prospect dials “D-I-R-E-C-T-I-O-N-S” (347-328-4667) on their cell phone. This number is made available to the prospect through the fill page located within For Rent Magazine. Once they have made the free phone call, the prospect can then verbally give their current location and destination. This can be a specific destination address or intersection. The service responds via text messaging with turn-by-turn directions, directing the prospect to the property. There is no registration cost or service fee to use Dial Directions. Only standard cell phone minutes or text messaging fees charged by a carrier may apply.

The initial launch was implemented in September in the San Francisco Bay Area market, which includes more than 90,000 For Rent Magazine distributed monthly to approximately 1,200 distribution outlets.

“Partnering with the For Rent Magazine, a well-regarded publication in the multi-family housing industry, enables us to reach millions of people who need to get directions quickly and easily,” said Amit Desai, co-founder and chief product officer of Dial Directions. “Whether you’re coming from work or spending the day looking for apartments, all you’ll need is For Rent Magazine and a cell phone, and you’ll be on your way to finding your next place to call home.”

This month, For Rent Magazine will make the Dial Directions service available to more than 30 markets nationwide. By December, the service will be available to all 190 For Rent Media Solutions markets, giving the apartment seeker the opportunity to easily locate the apartment listing of their choice with a simple free telephone call.

About Dial Directions

Dial Directions provides the industry’s best platform for voice-activated location-based services. Dial Directions’ first of a kind phone service “D-I-R-E-C-T-I-O-N-S” (347-328-4667) enables any cell phone user to call and ask for directions to any address, store destination or public event, and receive directions by text message instantly. Now available in over 2,700 cities across 15 metro areas across the U.S., including New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Miami, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Sacramento, San Diego and Washington, D.C., the free service bridges the gap for consumers between the online and mobile worlds for location-based services. Multi-Housing Industry Professionals Seek New Marketing Techniques During 2007 Brainstorming SessionsTM

For Rent Media SolutionsTM informs multi-housing industry professionals about additional marketing opportunities

NORFOLK, Va.-(November 14, 2007) - As the exclusive diamond sponsor for Multifamilypro’s 2007 Brainstorming Sessions, For Rent Media Solutions, a leading apartment resource for searching apartments for rent nationwide and a division of Dominion Enterprises, is generating awareness among property managers about the various points of contact they can use to reach apartment seekers.

With the theme “Ideas That Rock”, this year’s Brainstorming session will be held at the Rio All-Suite and Casino hotel in Las Vegas from November 14-16. For Rent Media Solutions has been a top sponsor for the event since 1994, holding the position of diamond sponsor for nearly a decade.

“For Rent Media Solutions has been the exclusive diamond sponsor for the Brainstorming Sessions since 1998,” said Terry Slattery, vice president and general manager of For Rent Media Solutions. “We have found that consumers are not only changing the way they communicate, but the way they seek information as well. This year, we will use our position at Brainstorming to inform the multi-family housing industry on the many ways consumers are changing the way they communicate and seek information. We will also educate industry professionals on various points of contact that can be used to reach the apartment seeker, including innovative approaches like mobile marketing, instant messaging and streaming video, as well as more traditional means like phone leads, guest cards and email.”

By offering a variety of marketing approaches, For Rent Media Solutions is allowing the property manager to connect with their potential renter in a manner that best accommodates them during their apartment seeking process. Industry professionals who attend this year’s Brainstorming Sessions will have the opportunity to learn more about alternative techniques like streaming video and mobile marketing.

According to an August 2007 study by MarketTools, over a three month period 43 percent of U.S. mobile users sent text messages and 4.2 million mobile users sent text messages to respond to “off-mobile” advertisement, such as contest, coupons or information about products, brands and services. Mobile marketing is proving to be an effective way to reach the end-consumer. In June, For Rent Media Solutions launched its text messaging package, which is now available in limited markets nationwide. Property managers have the opportunity to include a unique keyword in their print advertisements listed in For Rent Magazine®. They also have the opportunity for placement on the magazine’s cover, on ForRent.com as well as additional on-site signage. The curious apartment seeker sends a text message with the property’s unique keyword to the short code 47368 (4RENT). Within seconds the apartment seeker receives a text message with information about the property.

It is evident that online video is also being incorporated into the consumer’s online experience. According to eMarketer, 66 percent of Americans watch online video advertisements and 46 percent take action on what they’ve seen. comScore Media Metrix states that nearly 134 million Americans viewed online video in July 2007.

During Brainstorming, industry professionals can learn more about Community TheaterTM, a customized streaming video package for their community; which can be shown on ForRent.com and ParaRentar.com as well as the management company’s site and a variety of video-sharing websites. It includes a professional voice over, production and editing, and a video e-mail brochure to send to prospects for follow up.

“For Rent Media Solutions clients who utilize Community Theater will drive traffic to their site,” said Brock MacLean, vice president of national sales and development, For Rent Media Solutions. “They have the opportunity to build their company’s brand awareness as well as raise company perception to their audience.”

Apartment industry professionals will have the opportunity to learn more about the various points of contact offered by For Rent Media Solutions during the conference.

Baby Boomers are “Exploring Life After 55″ with new publication

After 55TM Housing and Resource Guide launches navigational guide for adults age 55+

NORFOLK, Va.-(September 25, 2007) - For Rent Media Solutions, a leading apartment resource for searching apartments for rent nationwide and a division of Dominion Enterprises, announces the launch of Exploring Life After 55. After 55 Housing and Resource Guide, a For Rent Media Solutions publication, worked in collaboration with the AARP Foundation to create the annual supplemental publication. Geared towards adults age 55 and beyond, Exploring Life After 55 is a navigational guide for housing and related services.

This new publication serves as an educational resource, addressing subject matter important to baby boomers who are planning their retirement, aging adults, and adult children who are researching housing options for their parents. The first issue covers a variety of topics including: an assisted living and health check list, a description of housing and care options, estate planning basics, how to guard against identity theft, resources for “grandfamilies”-grandparents raising grandchildren-and warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease.

The 2007-2008 edition of Exploring Life After 55 made its debut at the Life@50+ | AARP National Event and Expo, held in Boston earlier this month.

Exploring Life After 55 is the result of an ideal collaboration between After 55 Housing and Resource Guide and the AARP Foundation,” says Robyn Epps, national director of sales for After 55 Housing and Resource Guide. “This supplemental publication is unique because it offers both housing options and informative editorial content with this audience in mind. We are excited to work with such an influential name in the after 55 marketplace.”

The magazine will be published once a year and distributed to AARP Foundation offices nationwide as well as to local industry events and senior centers. Exploring Life After 55 will also be available at the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) Conference and Exposition, and at the “Building For Boomers and Beyond: 50+ Housing Symposium,” hosted by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Both conferences will be held in May 2008.

“Deciding where to live is a big step and should not be taken lightly,” says Matthew McCloy, director Economic Security and Work for the AARP Foundation. “This supplemental publication contains great information on topics that our audience deals with on a daily basis. The AARP Foundation is pleased to join efforts with After 55 Housing and Resource Guide in its first ever annual housing and resource guide.”
