For Rent Media Solutions gives away$10,000 for the most creative video in online contest
NORFOLK, Va.-(April 16, 2008) - Has that couch in your living room, which also doubles as a “guest bedroom”, seen its better days? For Rent Media Solutions, a leading apartment resource for searching apartments nationwide and a division of Dominion Enterprises, is giving away $10,000 to the most creative video submission in its “If Only Your Apartment Furniture Could Talk” contest. Video submission begins May 1.
Your apartment furniture has been with you through thick and thin. If your furniture could tell your story, what would it say? Through the eyes of your current furniture, For Rent Media Solutions is looking for the most creative video that explains why you need new furniture.
How It Works
Send us your two minute creative and original video that allows your current furniture to explain why you need a furniture upgrade. Then, log onto http://www.winapartmentfurniture.com/ between May 1 and June 15 to create an account and submit your short video. Acceptable video formats include MPEG, QuickTime, and Real Media, among others. Maximum file size is 100 MB.
Voting runs from June 16th to July 7th. Voters have the opportunity to comment on each video they view and even post the video link on any of the many social networking Web sites, including Myspace, Facebook and Friendster. Voting will then be narrowed down to the top ten videos, where viewers will have from July 7 to July 21 to choose which one they like best. The winner will be announced on July 22.
The Winner
The winner will receive $10,000 which can be used towards an apartment furniture makeover! The winner’s video will run on www.WinApartmentFurniture.com from July 22 through July 31, creating more exposure for the top rated video! The other nine finalists do not go home empty handed. Each finalist will walk away with an iPod shuffle. Perfect for tuning out the squeaking noise your dresser drawers make every time they are opened and shut!
